Dear JISK community,

JISK celebrated its first ever Festival of Hope that symbolizes optimism, unity, and renewal. It brought together people from different backgrounds and cultures to commemorate shared values and aspirations. Through colorful performances, uplifting music, and meaningful rituals, the Festival of Hope fostered a sense of community, encouraging individuals to embrace hope, resilience, and positivity in the face of challenges. It serves as a reminder that no matter what obstacles we may encounter, there is always the potential for growth, transformation, and a brighter future ahead. Cheers to our school community for bringing in so much hope in everyone's heart who attended the ceremony.

Welcome to Jewels International School of Kinshasa

Jewels International School of Kinshasa (JISK) is privately owned and was founded in 1972 due to the demand of families who wanted affordable, quality English education. JISK began in a small garage adjacent to the Munshi Residence with only five toddlers. As the student body grew, so did the school.

In September 2002 construction for the new school building was completed on 2 hectares of land. JISK is now a double story building situated in the Commune of Ngaliema, a residential area, ten minutes from Kinshasa's city center.
